This hiking trail winds through Šumava forests, featuring many interesting rock formations and a stop at the Schwarzenberg Navigation Canal. At one point, the trail commemorates the last Šumava bear, after which the trail is named.

Along the way, make a stop at Plešné Lake, one of the most beautiful glacial lakes in the Czech Republic, known for its crystal-clear water and picturesque surroundings. Ferry
The ferry on Lipno is a quick and comfortable way to cross the Lipno Reservoir. It offers beautiful views of the surrounding nature and allows you to explore both sides of the reservoir. We recommend taking the ferry in Horní Planá, Frymburk, Dolní Vltavice, or enjoying an experiential boat ride from Černá v Pošumaví.
